Umar Mohammed’s journey exemplifies resilience, leadership, and a relentless pursuit of purpose. Originally from Nigeria, Umar moved to the United States to study at South Dakota State University, earning his Bachelor’s degree and setting a foundation for his future. His desire to lead and serve then took him to the United States Army, where he forged discipline and integrity. While stationed overseas, Umar met his wife, Miriam, forming a partnership that would be the bedrock of his future success.

After completing his military service, Umar channeled his vision into entrepreneurship, founding Great Choice Vending LLC and Home Quest Solutions LLC. Under his leadership, both companies grew into multimillion-dollar ventures known for innovation, luxury, and customer satisfaction. These achievements, alongside his role as a dedicated husband and father to two sons, reflect his exceptional ability to balance family, ambition, and responsibility.

With AfroFlame Corp, Umar brings his journey full circle, combining his passion for African culture with his proven leadership. As CEO, he envisions AfroFlame as a platform for cultural celebration, networking, and empowerment, bridging communities and uplifting individuals from diverse backgrounds. Through AfroFlame, Umar continues to lead with purpose, turning his vision into an impactful reality and redefining what it means to lead with a global perspective.

He is a visionary leader and Nigerian-born entrepreneur whose journey bridges heritage, creativity, and impact. Coming from the royal family of Joseph and Ann Omorodion of the Edo Empire, Michael developed his talent early on in art, acting, and modeling, honing his skill for storytelling and cultural expression.

With a dual foundation in Business and Theology, Michael earned two bachelor’s degrees in Nigeria and master’s degrees in the U.S., equipping him with a powerful blend of leadership and faith. His current role as a U.S. Army chaplain underscores his dedication to service and community, guiding fellow service members with integrity.

In 2019, he and his wife co-founded Taste and Tell, a culinary venture that expanded into 30 locations across the U.S., exemplifying his drive and entrepreneurial acumen. Now, as AfroFlame’s CMO, Michael brings his heritage, creativity, and business success to a brand that celebrates African culture, connecting and inspiring a global community. His leadership transforms AfroFlame’s vision into a movement for cultural pride and connection.

Afroflames’ Chief Operations Officer

Oluwaseun “Seun” Owoola, the Chief Operations Officer of AfroFlame Corp, brings a wealth of experience rooted in his multicultural background and an impressive track record across the energy, military, and tech sectors. Born in Nigeria, Seun began his journey with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, quickly advancing in the energy industry, where he honed his technical and project management skills over six successful years. Driven by a passion for growth and innovation, he later pursued a Master’s degree in Information Technology Management, merging his technical insights with cutting-edge IT strategies.

Seun’s unique leadership style was further refined through his service as a reservist in the United States Army. Leading over 50 soldiers on successful missions that spanned reconnaissance, intelligence gathering, and tactical operations, Seun proved his resilience and capacity for strategic thinking. Currently working in the US Army’s intelligence department, he plays a pivotal role in leveraging drone technology to drive advanced intelligence operations, showcasing his expertise at the intersection of technology and strategy.

As COO of AfroFlame Corp, Seun’s multifaceted background and disciplined leadership are pivotal in steering AfroFlame’s operations. His commitment to innovation and operational excellence empowers AfroFlame’s mission to deliver world-class experiences, making him an invaluable asset to the team and the organization’s growth. Alexander “Alex” Watkins is a seasoned professional with extensive leadership experience in both the hospitality and real estate industries. After completing his studies at Blinn Junior College, Alex transitioned into the restaurant industry, where his natural leadership abilities quickly propelled him into a management position at Chuys Tex Mex. Over the next eight years, he managed all aspects of the restaurant, from the bar and kitchen to overseeing the servers, hosts, and bussers. His exceptional leadership and ability to elevate team performance were key to the restaurant’s success.

In 2019, after 13 years in the restaurant business, Alex shifted his career to real estate, where he achieved immediate success. As a licensed real estate agent, he has sold over 150 homes and now leads his own team. His business acumen and ability to build and manage high-performing teams have been crucial to his rapid success in the industry. Alex also aspires to open his own real estate brokerage in the future, further demonstrating his entrepreneurial drive and vision.

As the Chief Events Officer of AfroFlame Corp, Alex applies his leadership expertise to curate and execute upscale events that reflect the brand’s commitment to luxury and sophistication. With a strong foundation in managing high-pressure environments, his ability to lead diverse teams and deliver exceptional results makes him a key asset in advancing AfroFlame’s reputation and ensuring the success of its events.

Babalola “Don Barry” Abayomi brings a blend of creativity, leadership, and ambition to his role as AfroFlame’s Chief Luxury Fashionist and Designer. Born in Ogun State and raised in Ondo State, Nigeria, Abayomi holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Architecture from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. His diverse career journey includes work as a freelance architect, engineer, and service as a U.S. Army soldier. Known for his refined style and gentlemanly charm, Abayomi’s vision is to redefine luxury through events and fashion that celebrate African heritage with elegance.

A natural leader with a passion for event production, Abayomi has over 40 successful events to his name, a testament to his skill in curating memorable experiences. He is the CEO of BYC Modeling/Entertainment Agency, a global talent promotion platform, and recently expanded his entrepreneurial pursuits with BYC Decor Rental Store and BYC Records, a promising record label. These ventures showcase his dedication to nurturing creativity and excellence in multiple fields.

With a deep commitment to both innovation and tradition, Abayomi brings AfroFlame’s luxury vision to life through distinctive fashion and design.
